Hope this is in the right forum. I have a biologist friend who draws marine and prehistoric art as accurately as possible. He’s been getting his stuff into art fairs and launched his own business via website. I think a lot of Dopers would like his stuff. Am I allowed to post a link to his website in Marketplace? Technically it’s not me doing the selling. It’s not posting by-proxy because he didn’t ask me to do this. I’m just a big fan of his work. Would it be more appropriate in Cafe Society? Or is there no way to make this happen? Thanks, Christy ---

It is my understanding that you could do that – for instance, someone who does marketing for Twinings posted with a special discount for Dopers, which was cool, I bought six months’ worth of tea. I’d email or PM the Marketplace mods to make sure, though. ---
