I was reading a Buzzfeed article [17 Brilliant Art History-Inspired Halloween Costumes](http://www.buzzfeed.com/jessicamisener/17-brilliant-art-history-inspired-halloween-costumes) and recognized one of the photos from the SDMB Portrait Gallery. Sure enough, it’s **Marley23** ’s picture. (And is indeed credited directly to [the photo](http://www.nouilles.info/sdpix/21437.html)). I’m wondering if they got Arnold Winkelried’s permission, or yours, **Marley**? Just curious - it’s a little jarring to think that I might see myself in an upcoming “17 Most Handsome Devils of the Internet” article. 🙂 ---

And in this case they not only watermarked the image without permission but they also credited the wrong person. The photographer most probably holds copyright on the image: not Arnold’s website. ---
