This one is the closest. Although I do tell the Other Shoe about stuff I read here - funny cat stories and funny fart stories are top faves - and we have both benefited from posts on this forum.

Spouse has posted here a great deal longer than I have. We ALMOST met on the SDMB; we met on collounsbury’s livejournal after he was exiled.

My spousal equivalent doesn’t even read here. My ex used to be an active poster here probably ten years ago or more. He got me started lurking, but then he quit the board, saying you were all too know-it-all.

I chose “Other”, because while my husband did join the SDMB, he doesn’t read or post here now, and probably won’t for the foreseeable future. He posted a few times, and enjoyed doing so, but he’s an extremely busy guy, and finds the sheer volume of threads and responses to posts here overwhelming.
He and I met elsewhere online.
