Wow, when she got this wonder if she realized then how much of a freak he was. I cannot see anyone even remotely reading that thinking it was a joke. Way to much detail. This guy thought it out. ---

I saw this in another Doper’s LJ the other day and all I could think was, “Did he show this to her BEFORE they were married? And if so, WHY the HELL did she go through with it?!” ---

I’m not actively involved in a D/s lifestyle, but I have known more than one person who’s marriage or long-term relationship was governed by this type of “contract”. It’s mutually decided and the sumbmissive reveled in it.\* They wore collars that looked like lovely chokers and in private were pampered and cared for by their Dom. Unless you know that was their game, they just looked like very devoted couples. Could be that she enjoyed the power structure. I like D/s play occasionally, but it’s just that–occasional play, and not a “lifestyle”. \*This is, of course, assuming he was into D/s and not just a whacko. ---

I don’t think she was into the D/S lifestyle since she didn’t sign the contract. I like how he even provided places to initial. ---

A donut for the first person who has the guts to print out the contract, and present it to there SO for them to sign.\* Of course bonus sprinkles if you are alive to post the results of your social experiment. - Offer null and void if SO and yourself are already in a relationship such as this. (Not sure of the proper term so I Dom/Sub?) ---

There’s provision for her to be allowed to let him know if something is painful without getting in trouble, and getting “good behavior days” when all the rules don’t apply is relatively simple - three days per five minute BJ seems “generous” as these things go. All the shaving, sexual access and dressing stuff has definitely been part of contracts I’ve seen, especially for women or genderqueers. If you removed the part where this wasn’t consensual, it wouldn’t even begin to ping my ‘that’s crazy’ radar. But then, many people find BDSM crazy to begin with. 😛 ---

Oh, if they’d come up with it together and she was into it, fine. Also fine if they’d come up with a version together for him. However, the idea that he spent several hours coming up with this without talking to her about it, and just expected her to go along without question is…weird and creepy. There is a consensual Dom/Sub relationship, where boundaries are mutally agreed on and there is mutal respect and then there is being a misogynistic control freak with no respect for your wife as a person. This guy fits into the latter category. ---

I was just responding to the idea that this would be weird for a real BDSM relationship, which it certainly would not, among 24/7 ‘lifestylers’. ---
