And that’s one of the problems with the OP’s dilemma: suppose those who go to ‘hell’ are each in their own custom-designed hell, the one that they’ve been unconsciously shaping for themselves during their years on earth? Or suppose hell is an eternity alone with your own thoughts? You couldn’t get into someone else’s hell, because it only existed for them. Quest fail. ---

I’d be more than a little confused, because unlike the protagonist in Heinlein’s book, I’m nowhere close to being an actual saint…or even a New Orleans Saint…so really there’s no chance I could qualify for most known versions of Heaven. Valhalla is much more likely, depending on the manner of my death. That noted, I’m off on the quest to find The Druidess. Knowing her, I’ll start at the Rainbow Bridge. No, not the one Loki will use to invade Asgard. The other one, where pets await their humans. She should be there with more than a dozen doggies and assorted other critters. I might even be greeted by a cat and a couple of dogs. Then we’ll shift over one universe to the right, and set up our own freehold, close–but not too close…to the Farnhams and Heinleins. Maybe she’ll finally learn to play Bridge. 7NT, baby. ---
