I didn’t even know they were ever an item. Do I have to go on? Surely you’ve all written the obvious punch line to this set-up. Yeah, I heard about this in 2012 [Martha Stewart Plays Not My Job : NPR](https://www.npr.org/2012/11/10/164810263/martha-stewart-plays-not-my-job) - and Peter Sagal says he learned that fact from Wikipedia, which means it’s older news than that. ---

I have no idea if that’s the real reason and I don’t know if I should be judgmental about it, but Sir Anthony’s performance in that movie was amazing and truly chilling. I don’t think there are many actors who could have pulled it off nearly as well. ---

I just checked to make sure that Anthony Hopkins was recognized for his amazing performance in _Silence of the Lambs_, and indeed he was – won the Best Actor Oscar, while Jodie Foster also won an Oscar, and in fact the film won all “Big Five” Oscars. ---
