> What you seem not to fully appreciate is that State of Florida already knows where John placed the fight. Us little guys can only guess and speculate about stuff that has been known to the State for several months now. And they arrested Zimmerman and charged him with murder. There is a reason for this. A reason that not even O’Mara has challenged.

You seem to be actually delusional. All of John’s statements have already been made public. There isn’t any evidence from that night we haven’t seen. I don’t know what rabbit you think the prosecution is going to pull out of it’s hat, but they had a rabbit they sure didn’t use it Friday. They are reduced to threatening to release the statement of Witness#9(Veronica Zauzo), who was Zimmerman’s fiancee.

OK, this is hilarious. Do you want me to pull up all the posts in which you and others talked about the massive size advantage that Martin had over Zimmerman? Do you think we’ve forgotten the crazy shit you’ve posted in this thread?

It surprises me that he’s technically obese, since he looks pretty lithe in the renactment video. But obese doesn’t mean slow. Especially when we’re talking about a guy in 20s, pumped up with adrenaline and testosterone.

Good try, though.

A fight scene at the T is consistent with him going back to his car. But we both know this is not what happened. So what did and what is the reason behind the discrepancy?

You are ignoring the fact that Zimmerman dropped his flashlight and keys at the T. If the fight didn’t start there, what is your explanation? Zimmerman’s reenactment is consistent with the evidence and W#11 and W#6 statements. You are apparently reduced to nothing except harping his failure to find a street sign.

He said he would meet police at his car.

He did give instructions on how to get to his car.

What?

what are you talking about? The dispatcher asks all kinds of questions regarding location. How else are they suppose to find him without a specific address or directions?

Explained in the video. there is no evidence showing a discrepancy. I don’t understand why you think Zimmerman’s statement is false.

There is no indication that his statements are wrong. You keep saying this but there is no evidence to suggest otherwise. Now if you have someone by Martin’s house saying Zimmerman was standing there, that would be a discrepancy.

The person pumped up with adrenaline and testosterone would be the person on top of Zimmerman wailing on him.

But you said earlier he was looking for an _address_ not a street sign. Which is it?

If he was looking for a street sign on the street he was on…wouldn’t he walk up and down the street he was on, looking for a sign? Why would he go through the cut-through? He’s not going to find a street sign there, is he. And he doesn’t need a street sign for the street on the other side of the cut-through - he knows that’s Retreat Circle, the same street he lives on - and he says he knows what street it is in the video.

Hmm, maybe you mis-spoke. Perhaps he really was looking for an _address_ - in other words, a house number.

Again, why would he go towards the cut-through? Pretty much directly in front of him to the right was a row of houses, all facing out towards the street, with clearly displayed house numbers: Go to [this video](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PX1sxARNq_c) to the 07:37 mark and pause it. Now go to picture 73 of this [crime scene photo series](http://www.wtsp.com/news/photo-gallery.aspx?storyid=255685). That’s what the front of the houses looked like on the night of the shooting. If he wanted an address of where he was, it was literally right in front of him. So why did he walk all the way through the cut-through path again?

And this is all before we consider the fact that Zimmerman got out of the car long before being asked for anything resembling an address, he hung up the phone having already agreed to meet at the clubhouse, and it’s hard to believe he didn’t know what street he was on.

Zimmerman said many things about his location during his 911 call including “Um, if they come in through the gate, tell them to go straight past the clubhouse and, uh, straight past the clubhouse and make a left and then go past the mailboxes you’ll see my truck” and agreeing to meet the police by the mailboxes. Towards the end of the call, however, when the dispatcher tries to confirm the meeting place (and after being told they don’t need him to follow Martin) Zimmerman asks “Actually, could you have them – **could you have them call me and I’ll tell them where I’m at**?” and the dispatcher says that’s no problem.

So, that’s how the police were supposed to find Zimmerman without a specific address or directions.

And rather strong evidence that GZ had no intention of just going back to his car and meeting the cops there. He wanted to keep searching for Martin so he could detain him until the police arrived.

Of course there is evidence we haven’t seen. As is clear in John’s recorded interview, there are drawings that were used for him to illustrate what he saw that night. Has that been released? Not that I’m aware of.

Call me delusional if you want. It is much more delusional to insist that Zimmerman’s account is solid, corroborated by all the witnesses, and will not present a problem for him in trial despite the fact that the State’s star witness against the defendant will probably be Zimmerman himself.

And O’Mara knows it. It makes him incontinent just thinking about it.

How can you detain someone if you don’t even know if they’re still around? In previous reported incidents when they took off running, the suspects left the area.

Those diagrams that were talked about during the interview were not entered into evidence. All the evidence was given to O’Mara during discovery and he has made it available online. I looked at them and there are no diagrams.

I think GZ’s original 911 phone call is the most accurate piece of evidence we have about what actually happened that night. The problem for George is that much of his testimony -after- the shooting contradicts the 911 call.

Here is the 911 call in its entirity:

> [@](#):
>
> Zimmerman: We’ve had some break-ins in my neighborhood and there’s a real suspicious guy. It’s Retreat View Circle. The best address I can give you is 111 Retreat View Circle.

> Zimmerman: He looks black.
> 911 dispatcher: Did you see what he was wearing?
> Zimmerman: Yeah, a dark hoodie like a gray hoodie. He wore jeans or sweat pants and white tennis shoes. He’s here now … he’s just staring. [00: 42]
> 911 dispatcher: He’s just walking around the area, the houses? OK.
> Zimmerman: Now he’s staring at me. [00: 48]
> 911 dispatcher: OK, you said that’s 1111 Retreat View or 111?
> Zimmerman: That’s the clubhouse.

I think there are three key problems for George based on this 911 call.

1. George sees Martin near the clubhouse. Based on where George parked his car, this means that Martin would have been behind the car, walking towards the cut-through. George notes that Martin is ‘staring at me’. hands in waist band’ etc etc. This is at about 00:48 or so. At 01:03, Martin is ‘near the Clubhouse, coming towards me’. At 01:20 of the call, Marti is now ‘coming to check me out’, with ‘something in his hands’.

At 02:08, Martin runs, and George says that Martin is running towards the back entrance = Martin ran to the sidewalk T and turned right.

So at 01:03 or so Martin was at/near the clubhouse. At 02:08, Martin runs. That’s about one minute.

Here’s the problem: In his video re-enactment, George says that Martin walked up the cut-through, then walked back to George’s car, circled it, then started running, and turns right at the T. But no where in George’s call does he indicate that Martin walked away, then walked -back- and circled the car. That’s a pretty scary situation; certainly one you 'd expect GZ to note to the dispatcher.

But that’s not even the most incriminating part: There isn’t near enough time to go from the Clubhouse, to the T, back to GZ’s car, then back to the sidewalk T and turn right! That’s about 300 yards worth of movement, or about 900 feet. Walking speed is about 220-250 feet per minute. We’ll assume 250 feet since Martin was pretty tall - that still means it would have taken over _three minutes_ to walk from anywhere near the clubhouse, to the T, back to the car, then far enough back up the cut-through for GZ to know Martin is heading to the back entrance. Check out the re-enactment video: it takes almost exactly a minute for George to get up to the sidewalk T from his car. He slows down a bit here and there because he’s talking and gesturing as he’s walking, so we can imagine that at a straight, normal walking gait he’d do it a bit faster - maybe 50 seconds or so.

That coincides almost exactly with the 911 phone call if we assume that Martin walked from near the clubhouse, past George’s car, and up to the T - that part of the phone call takes about a minute.

1. In his re-enactment video, George stresses that he got out of the truck to find a street sign because the dispatch wanted to know which way Martin ran. But that’s completely false: First of all, George knew exactly which way Martin ran, and he told the dispatcher: He ran towards the back exit. Secondly, we know exactly when George got out of the truck: He got out at 02:08, when the ‘asshole’ started to run away. At no point before George gets out of the truck does the dispatch ask George for any address.

A minute or so after George got out of the truck, when George has said he lost sight of Martin, at 03:00 or so, the dispatcher asks if GZ wants to meet the cops when they arrive. He says yes. When asked where he wants to meet, he directs them to his truck. Here, the dispatch asks “What address are you **parked in front of**?”.

This is the key point: GZ was asked for the address - i.e., the house number - that he was parked in front of. George says he doesn’t know the address because it’s a cut-through. This makes of course true - at this point he’s standing in the cut-through! He’s behind the houses, so he can’t see any house number. So they agree to meet at the mailboxes. No mention is -ever- made of needing a _street_, or finding a street sign.

So why does GZ change his story in the re-enactment videos? GZ actually admits this by accident, because he says he walked all the way through the cut-through to the other street (Retreat View Circle), which could only be to find a house number: he didn’t need to see a street sign there, he knew what that street was, and besides, that wasn’t the street that his truck was parked on.

But it begs the question of why GZ wants us to believe that he went looking for a house number some 500 feet from where his truck was parked, when he was asked what address he was in front of? Especially when the houses -right in front of his car- were all facing the street. He had a house number right in front of him. It is obviously, clearly, undeniably a lie.

1. Finally - the very last part: After agreeing to meet the officers at his car, he changes his mind and says, you know what, just have them call me when they get here and I’ll tell them where I am.

That can -only- mean that George didn’t mean to go back to his car, he was going to spend some more time trying to track Martin down. GZ conveniently leaves this part out of his video re-enactment.

Yeah, I know. The assholes always got away, didn’t they?

So that turns into a $100k all cash, right? Does he get that money back at the conclusion of trial, or does FL act as a bail bondsman?

I haven’t been following this case much (and see no reason to now until the actual trial starts), but I agree with the $1m bond. I think it possible Zimmerman and his wife definitely were lying to the court but the fact that he’s been on release for so long and hasn’t tried to flee to me says there’s no real reason to deny him bail entirely. The new bond is a good reflection of his ability to pony up cash, so I see no real problem with it.

Plus, the cost to taxpayers is less with a defendant out on bail versus incarceration.

The problem with this is Zimmerman has no resources to pay his attorney fees, which is probably what Angela Corey might have wanted, considering that top flight attorney Donald West wanted to join the Zimmerman team . If you’re going to allow bond once, the likelihood of not getting it again seemed pretty slim, IMO. All this does is makes Zimmerman destitute.
