Captain America 3 is Civil War Thor 3 is called Ragnarok Avengers 3 will be two movies released a year apart. Black Panther and Captain Marvel (not Shazam, that is DC, this one is a woman character) movies coming. So, is there a full list of planned Marvel movie releases somewhere? I’m starting to loose count. (Not that that’s a bad thing, though I do have some fears of market oversaturation…) (And while we’re at it, the same thing for DC?) ---

I think they will just fold elements of the Infinity War into the pre-existing set-up. It will be a cross-over between the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avengers, and be a compressed adaptation of the _Infinity Gauntlet_ and _Infinity War_ arcs of the comics. ---

It isn’t going to be the _Civil War_ of the comics. It will be a continuation of the themes established in _Winter Soldier_. Cap will rebel against the loss of rights, other heroes will weigh in, they’ll assassinate Rogers (or he will give up his shield) and Bucky will take up the mantle as the new Captain. It will be both a tear-jerker and rousing restatement of Cap’s ideals. ---

Hmm, doesn’t look like they’re planning an _Antman_ sequel, nor another standalone _Hulk_ movie. That’s not bad or good, just interesting. And I wonder if Hawkeye will get any exposure outside the Avenger movies, like Black Widow in the Iron Man and Cap America sequels. ---

That’s what I’m unhappy about with the list. No _Planet Hulk_, _World War Hulk_, _Black Widow_, or for that matter _Dr. Strange 2_. It may just be that they are planning to explore these on Netflix or HBO. ---

If Ant-Man and Dr. Strange are successful, there will certainly be sequels, but they are going to announce them until after they come out (like GotG 2). ---
