I am amazed by the virulence that certain posters in this thread have cast in the direction of these excellent, gifted youngsters. Shame on you all. They’re good kids who don’t deserve your sneering perversion. I feel that two actresses with such enormous talents would transform just about any movie they deigned to make. ---

Say what you want kids… A) They’re pretty easy on the eyes B) Anyone who says they’re ‘stupid’ or any other non-smart concept is a fool. Those kids have leveraged themselves to a fare-the-well. Sure, at the beginning it was all adults doing it. But at this point those two are as sophisticated at image-making as Madonna. In their field they’re brilliant. Much more so than most of us. I actually (in a detached sort of way) look forward to seeing if they can make the transition from kid stars with kid market to adult movies and television. That would be one hell of a leap. ---

Easy on the eye? They’re snaggletoothed. They look like aliens. Most child stars don’t make that leap. Their cutsey appeal doesn’t translate to paying adults. With any luck, their careers will never get off the ground. ---

I think you’re letting something get in the way. They’re attractive VERY young women. Even if they don’t make the leap they’ll still be set. That’s why it’ll be interesting to see if they can make it. They certainly seem better managed and marketed than your average child star.
