Since the maskne is due to moisture, I wonder if something fungal is going on. Maybe try an anti-fungal cream?
Do you have an objection to wearing a normal, disposable surgical mask? Not great for the environment, but I find them much more comfortable and they don’t get damp like a cotton mask. I’m thinking they may create a better environment for your skin than a more confining cotton mask.
