VICE has been keeping track of things this year with their [Mass Shooting Tracker](https://www.vice.com/tag/Mass%20shooting%20tracker). This one jumps the US body count way up for 2016; IIRC this was almost half as many people as had been killed previously in 2016 in mass shootings. ---

Won’t know for sure until further investigation. But this fits the lone wolf attack that ISIS has been encouraging. It’s very much like the two Paris attacks and the Brussels airport bombing. Such a terrible weekend in Florida. ---

This happened the day the Tony Awards are given out. Coincidence? I think the problem is with religious fundamentalists. Any religion. When I point out to hard cord Christians that hard core Muslims share their beliefs about women, abortion and gays, they act extremely surprised. Like the thought had never occurred to them. Prayers for the survivors. ---

MSNBC is now reporting that the shooter swore alliegance to an ISIS leader. Apparently he said this on a 911 call he made. I don’t if it’s online yet. ---
