On a day like this I look upon those who responded to the emergency to prevent something worse, and those who are responding to help in the efforts of assisting the wounded and helping the recovery of the community, above those seeking to score political nyah nyah points. This is the sort of casualty count that used to be related to bad fire safety. When it’s deliberate action by people who are out to\* both\* terrorize and spread hatred, it tempts to despair.
