If it were after the weekend of the 13th in January I _could_ be in. Prior to I’m probably out of commission. But, I’m in a bit of a tight spot in a lot of ways lately anyway, so I’ll just lurk this thread and probably have to live vicariously through y’all. ---

Good catch, **Sal**. I’m sure **TWO** was just testing us to see if we’re paying attention. Saturdays in January (of 2006) are 7, 14, 21, etc. Can everyone make it on the 7th? ---

1:00 still sounds good to me. How to recognize? Hmm, that’s always the tricky bit of any Dopefest. Just look for a woman, early thirties, red hair just past the shoulders, smart, funny; I’ll be the guy that she’s ignoring. I can probably come up with a better plan by the 7th. ---

I cooked a big dinner; turkey, potatoes, etc. I finally got the gravy right. And, since I live alone, I’ll be having leftovers for about the next two weeks. Got all the ingredients for an apple pie, then couldn’t find my rolling pin. And how was yours? ---

How-do! Jan 7, 1 pm, check! I had a lovely Christmas packing my mom’s house in preparation for her move to Panama in t-minus 9 days. On the up side, Mom’s shipping me four boxes of things I claimed before she got rid of them. Provided they get here in time for the 'fest, I’ll have a black fur muff to go with my black (faux)fur-trimmed wool coat and black feathered hat, so at least I’ll be easy to pick out in the crowd. ---
