Short advance notice is utterly useless. A decision to shut down Seoul = shut down the country’s economy and have the populace flee to the hinterlands could be implemented over span of 2-3 weeks using massive numbers of troops to enforce the evacuation and maintain order. But that won’t happen.
War isn’t pretty or convenient. If it does come to it, we’re going to see the kinds of destruction that yahoos thought was funny when it was happening to Iraqis.

The U.S. needs to immediately begin the airlifting of rifles, shotguns and handguns into South Korea (and for that matter, France, Mexico, … all our allies). American arms of course, from Henry Repeating Arms, Colt’s, Kimber, Kel-Tec, Rock River, Kahr, etc. Think of the Jobs that will be created. Help Make America Great Again.
We should include North Korea on the list for parachute drops. Help fine North Koreans rise up against their dictator and regain their Second Amendment freedoms.
It certainly worked well for us over the longer haul after we armed the Afghans against the Soviets. It’ll be certain to work even better with the NKs.
