A couple people have asked & you haven’t answered yet; why are you including auto accidents in this list? I agree that the victims are no less dead than those intentionally killed with a gun or a knife but the drivers didn’t necessarily set with any intent to kill anyone. ---

The Commissioner has ruled that this is a list of killings of four or more people by a single killer in on emotional event by any criminal means. It gets dicey when the killer also does, and so in not charged. Previously, he was criticized that the list included a dead man with a gun, but not a dead driver in a car. Now it does. If the news report indicates the driver most likely would have been charged had he survived, it goes on the list. ---

Any more information about the Mandan incident? When I first heard about it, I wondered if it might be some totally accidental thing like carbon monoxide poisoning, until later updates said it was definitely a homicide and that the community at large is not in danger, which is LEO’s way of saying they have a pretty good idea who did it, and that like most crime of all types, this person or people knew the victims. ---

Driver is being charged with VH, but the police say that it was not intentional. I think there was a boat accident last summer that was counted in the list, even though it was not intentional, for just that reason. And, well, it looked damn horrific. ---
