I think it’s sloppy packing that can make them float (as you suggest). There have been many reports of kilos of coke floating to shore after a drug runner’s maritime accident. That said, as you also show, you really don’t want to rely on them as a flotation device. Once that ship was blown to bits, the blow was likely in Davy Jones’ possession. No, not the Monkee. ---

I did the survey in the article. Out of (currently) 194 responses, 72% ‘strongly support’ impeaching Hegseth. Five percent ‘somewhat support’. Next we have ‘somewhat oppose’, 1%; ‘strongly oppose’, 20%; and ‘other/no opinion’, 1%. ---

He _should_ be court-martialled for murder. He _could_ be charged with committing a war crime. (I think that would be an ICC charge.) What _will_ happen to him? The charges will probably be swept under the rug, and he’ll quietly retire. ---

Good breakdown of the situation by LegalEagle’s former Marine JAG; it’s actually the third video he’s done on it, and the second one with an interview with Senator Kelly who TFG wants to have executed for daring to remind service members that they have a duty to disobey illegal orders. Dude. The Romans did spend some time invading England and spreading their language amongst us dirty Anglos and Saxons… Language is incredibly easily spread. I mean, Afrikaans for “chutney” is the Indonesian/Malay word “blatjang”. English has “ballet”, even though only somewhat approximation the French pronunciation. We have “onomatopoeia” from Greek. “Algerbra” from Arabic. “Bra / Brassiere” from French. No end of words from Hindi. It is not a big leap from cunnus. Oh, yes, I studied Chaucer at school. He used the more modern form of the word. ---
