Has anyone thought of compiling an etiquette book about message boards for us newbies so we don’t make trolls of ourselves? Maybe included in it could be an explanation of the acronyms and a glossary of web (my hang-out, hee hee) terms. ---

I think the problem here is that after lurking for X months, I got to feel that I knew the posters here. I kinda developed a voyeur’s sense of community. How many posts do I need before my Newbie status ends? I’m thinking it’s about 100 - is that close? ---

My user name stems from a childhood incident, when an older sibling yelled “Who’s the jackass that left the refrigerator open?” to which I replied I’m the jackass and it stuck. It doesn’t relate to my personality (I hope) but just a family nickname. ---
