On that day, 44 years ago, my fiance and I went to the court house and got our marriage license. about an hour or so later, Omaha was hit with an [F4 tornado](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1975_Omaha_tornado_outbreak)that did 250 million dollars in damage in the 18 minutes it was on the ground. Our friends and family said in was an omen ---

Ya know, the OP hasn’t said they are still married. Or that they got married at all, for that matter. We have made assumptions. ---
