I am a fairly nice/quiet non-complaining person. I don’t like to stir up the bees. Leave me alone and I won’t bother you. Usually. I don’t like confrontations but I will defend myself. That said. I hate people who attribute words or feelings to me, when I never said or felt that way. Person you don’t know me, you don’t have a clue as to my thoughts or feelings. Quit doing that, check your facts and quit lying about me. IOW …STFU! ---

It’s really annoying in Craigslist ads, also. “Toyota Prius for sale, power windows, AC, cruise control, ABS, GPS, CD player, no body damage.” First question a buyer asks: Does it have power windows and cruise control? :mad: ---

Doesn’t matter to me who the fuck you are - your gender is irrelevant. And the whole ‘things in other people’s heads’ thing is delusional. I can’t read her mind or know her history, nor can someone else read my mind and know my intent or my feelings about it, other than by the look on my face, which as I said, I kept neutral despite my irritation. Hell, I didn’t even look in her direction or say anything to her because I expected she’d panic and attack me. Defend her all you want, but she’s the assailant in this scenario and I was just an innocent person in an elevator. Her being a woman or her history do not enter into this and they’re not an excuse for her behavior. But hey, you felt the need to jump in, assail and insult me and white knight some person you don’t know from 30 years ago, about a situation you know very little about. Feel proud of yourself? When I checked my Facebook feed today I was treated to a picture of my cousin and her seven month old baby in a tattoo parlor waiting to get the baby’s ears pierced. Yep, there was my holier-than-thou, ultra-conservative-Christian cousin standing with her baby in front of a wall plastered with various art and stickers, one of which proclaimed “FUCK NICK BRYANT”. Considering that this is the same person who thought Lady Gaga’s last Super Bowl performance was too obscene for public viewing, this has amused me today. Either she never noticed it in the final picture, or she’s so sheltered that she doesn’t understand the message. Or maybe she hates Nick Bryant. (Who is Nick Bryant, anyway? The only thing I’m coming up with in a Google search is a BBC news personality.) ---

You should probably re-read that and then read a bunch of Mechaforce threads to see why I reached that conclusion. What I know of him, I got from his responses to me and to other people in threads I read, and only at the point where I had to step back and stop interacting with him because he is quite clearly insane. Oh, and I didn’t “call” him that, I speculated. Do you think you can find people on this board who disagree with me on that, who have actually read this guy’s threads? A boy aged 19 who graduated with my daughter last year has just died of esophageal cancer. Another young man her age (18) has some weird tumor in his chest, close to his heart. It is inoperable. He is going through chemo therapy right now, and not doing too well. This is beginning to sound scary. Neither boy had any childhood cancers, like luekemia. How unusual is it that 2 boys would be that sick in such a small population like that of her class? There were less than 100 kids who graduated with her. ETA, both boys were obese in highschool. ---

I have utterly loathsome neighbors. Jerks who will park 10 feet from bedroom windows, then leave their headlights on and stereos thumping away for 15+ minutes. After 10pm. And who respond to civil requests to turn off said lights and stereos by stepping up the volume. Yes, building management has been notified, with license plate number of the offender. I do not care if poor widdle 20-something wannabe-gangsta “just got home from work”. He is waking up neighbors whose jobs require them to get up as early as 3am, and doing so intentionally, so far as I can tell.
