I went with Pacquiao by KO, but that’s just what I want to happen. I think a unanimous decision for Mayweather is most likely. In order for Pacquiao to win he has to get to Mayweather early and I don’t think Floyd will take the risk of staying in range. If Manny comes in close to 140 he’ll have the energy to stay after Floyd and then I think the advantage will swing towards Manny. I don’t like Floyd Mayweather, but there’s no point in selling him short. If Marquez could knock out Pacquiao so can Mayweather.

I have no idea but what I _want_ to see happen is “Pac-Man” knocking Gayweather the f_ck OUT. I am SO sick and tired of Gayweather going on about how “great” he is. I voted “other” - specifically, there’s an accidental head butt in the first five rounds that opens one of the fighters up; it’s ruled “no contest” (not “a draw”).

The extended-family Filipino part of me is pulling hard for Pacquiao. Hawaii is going absolutely bananas over this fight!
But here’s how I see the fight happening:
1. Mayweather will go conservative and defensive. Pacquiao may simply not have enough opportunities to nail him.
2. The fight will go the distance and therefore go to the judges
3. The judges will be reluctant to give a first loss to a 47-0 fighter, unless Pacquiao clearly dominates. See point 1.

Even if he dominates it probably won’t be enough. See Pacquiao v. Bradley.

I voted Mayweather by unanimous decision, but really all I know is he’ll win. I don’t have a rooting interest either way, but I can’t see Pacquiao pulling off a win.

I’m thinking Mayweather by split decision. Not that it should necessarily be a split decision unless it’s a really good fight, but it’s boxing. Expect the controversy.

I want to see Manny treat Mayweather like Floyd treated his girlfriend until the 12th round, where he throws a punch and knocks Mayweather stupid and into retirement.
What will probably happen, though, is a mid-round knockout from Mayweather.

Exactly. A split decision gives a greater chance of a rematch.

I’ll be rooting for Pacquiao like everyone else here. I think he has a better chance of beating Mayweather than anyone has had in ages. But I think Mayweather will win, likely by UD.

Seems the most unlikely outcome as Pacquiao hasn’t won by KO in 5 years.

Although Mayweather hasn’t KO’d anyone since 2007, except for Ortiz who basically let him do it.

If pacman shows better defense, he will win. Floyd has the better defense but that alone won’t win you the fight.
