# McCain hires Saddam Hussein's corrupt lobbyist as his transition chief.

For some reason, when I read the thread title, the image that popped into my head was of the Iraqi Information Minister. Remember that guy? I hope McCain hires him, that would be awesome.

Aziz. A step too far for the Mav so he just hired a guy who worked with him. And yes, Timmons worked for Saddam, not just working with lobbyists who worked for him. It’s there in the article, it’s there in the follow-up reporting and in evidence given to the UN inquiry and in the statements of the guilty.
