Yeah, McCain has only had 26 years to do something about it, but feels the need to suddenly decide this is the day he really, really needs to do something! Because, lordknows, taking a few hours to have a debate would cause this country to go hell in a handbasket if McCain doesn’t personally go to Washington and quickly take charge. He is, after all, the expert in the field. My, my…isn’t he Presidential and all.

Oh well, maybe he can use the time to bone up on economics and learn how to pronounce the big words.

I have no problem with politics in MPSIMS, but this topic is already being discussed in [Great Debates](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?p=10237879) and [the Pit](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=484851). I think two threads is enough for right now.
