He had heart by pass surgery in the early 2000’s. He could be having heart trouble. ---

Could be Actinic pupura, a non impact type of bruising caused by ageing skin ---

What puzzles me is why, if there is a totally benign explanation like senile purpura, they don’t just say so. Plus, McConnell’s unwillingness to visit the White House when he knows they aren’t taking proper protective measures against the the spread of Covid is telling. If he’s totally healthy, why doesn’t he just play along like the good little lap dog he usually is? It’s the evasion and the atypical break from the President’s approach, far more than the bruises themselves, that make me suspicious that something may be up with his health. ---
