May as well start here as some of them are pretty dark. Here’s my contribution, which will only make sense to the Better Call Saul fans: [![Imgur](https://i.imgur.com/8vJ3yvk.png "Justice - Album on Imgur") ](https://imgur.com/gallery/justice-RobLq0E) ---

One that @Sherrerd posted in the main McConnell thread (it’s a short video, no registration needed): > **[Christopher Webb (@cwebbonline.com)](https://bsky.app/profile/cwebbonline.com/post/3mrnkhoouc22f)** > > 🏆 ---

Only 14 seconds, and very surreal. (I hadn’t noticed this thread until now. It may fill up very fast!) ---

Ah, so that’s what kind of turtle he is! A box turtle! I love this comment on Bluesky: > I see much like the real Mitch, this one easily folds under pressure when it’s convenient too And also posted in that Bluesky thread, another entry to this topic: [![](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:ybxmu6uo3amb75yay4thgo6g/bafkreial6i7hcu64uzi6qu5u24menjvke4djfs3posuhwoydzztqpmb5u4) ](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:ybxmu6uo3amb75yay4thgo6g/bafkreial6i7hcu64uzi6qu5u24menjvke4djfs3posuhwoydzztqpmb5u4) ---

Let’s see if I can get this image to post: [![](https://i.postimg.cc/XY6h86qm/759642785-1007763678685908-3602085645988683022-n.jpg) ](https://i.postimg.cc/XY6h86qm/759642785-1007763678685908-3602085645988683022-n.jpg) Edit: I don’t personally think he’s dead… yet. ---

The image didn’t work. I think that postimage has been censoring images based on the McConnell image, in an attempt to crack down on fake news (and their filter doesn’t understand the difference between fake news and jokes). ---

@Mean_Mr.Mustard posted this one in the [jokes thread](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/more-jokes/848629/8013) (which also initially ran afoul of image-hosting problems): [![](https://i.imgur.com/Qpg4SJ7.jpeg) ](https://i.imgur.com/Qpg4SJ7.jpeg) ---

Let’s try this again… [[Album] imgur.com ![](https://i.imgur.com/8RLkpJ1.jpeg?fb "imgur.com") ](https://imgur.com/a/P42peqS) Well, imgur doesn’t want to display it properly but you get the idea. ---
**Author:** ![gnoitall](https://avatars.discourse-cdn.com/v4/letter/g/bb73d2/32.png) [@gnoitall](https://boards.straightdope.com/u/gnoitall)\ **Post date:** [July 29, 2026, 4:07pm UTC](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/mcconnell-memes-omnibus-thread/1031975/12 "2026-07-29T16:07:28Z")
> [@DWMarch](#): > > imgur doesn’t want to display it properly Because you linked the album, not the image. (The default URL Ingur gives you is an album, even if you only uploaded one image, because an album of one image makes so much sense. Well, it kinda does, from Imgur’s perspective, because they can display advertising and previews of other posts in the same page as the album.) If you open the album and then tell your browser to display the image by itself, you get a URL for just the image, which Discourse will preview correctly. [![](https://i.imgur.com/8RLkpJ1.jpeg) ](https://i.imgur.com/8RLkpJ1.jpeg) Also, Imgur is problematic to our readers in the UK. ---

Right click on the image in preview and select “Open image in new tab” until you get a URL that looks like **https//i.imgur.com/5s2UnLI.jpeg** and paste that in your post. ---
