Well he’s no longer [the MOST unpopular senator](https://www.courier-journal.com/story/news/politics/mitch-mcconnell/2020/01/17/mitch-mcconnell-approval-rating-not-least-popular-senator/4498421002/)in their own state. As noted already, RCP put him 21 points underwater.
