Is anyone else addicted to these awful things? They’re horrid, I know…greasy, cheesy, oniony, salty. God only knows how much fat is in one of them. (DON’T TELL ME. I’m in denial here.) But oh, how I love them. Crave them in all their fatty glory. Is there a support group for me somewhere? ---

Well, I haven’t tried them, but I have my own confession to make. I…I…I love McDonald’s double cheeseburgers, the ones on their cheap menu. God, I’m glad I got that out, I feel so ashamed and dirty. But at least I’m not eating them just now, as I give up meat for Lent. ---

The Sausage and Egg McMuffin is the King of the fast food breakfast world. Why, bacon can’t hold half the fat that sausage does. They specially grind and form the sausage to maximize the amount of fat they can stuff into it. Bacon is just sliced. Sniff… how pedestrian. ---

Sausage and Egg McMuffins are all well and good. However nothing can beat the **DOUBLE** Sausage and Egg McMuffins. 😃 I tried the BLT bagel a week ago and it’s like they took all the good things of a delicious mix of bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise and then… …put the rest in a bagel. ☹ ---

I’ve never even seen this so called Double Sausage and Egg McMuffins on the menu at my local McDonalds. My favorite is the Sausage and Egg McMuffins… and if there were a double version of that, THAT would be my favorite. ---

Judging from the number of Big Macs and fries I consume in a week, I’ll probably have a heart attack by the time I’m 30…but strangely enough, I’m not overweight at all either and all I ever do is sit in front of the computer and/or TV… But, they’re so _gooood_. ---

Oh man, theres a little-referenced McDonald’s has for breakfast that is the _picture_ of greasy awesomeness – the steak-egg-cheese bagel. A light chewey bagel, the typical “egg patty”, and a ‘steak’ – how exactly the steak is formed is a mystery, since its a different texture from their burgers, and its not the same as a salisbury-steak type thing, but MAN, does it taste “steaky”. For a couple bucks, mmm, good. ---

Bahh. It’s a poor subsitute for the Crossanwich. And now they make them with egg, sausage, bacon, and cheese, all in one. No more decision about which meat to go with, get them both :). Yeah, your bagel thing is truly degenerate and pathetic, but if you convert over to the righteousness that is the Crosssanwich you will be saved. ---

The steak-egg-cheese bagel is my artery-clogging breakfast of choice. That thing drips a huge puddle of grease, and onions are the last thing I need at six in the monring, but yum! My SO will order a nice, normal McMuffin, and stare in amazement as I scarf my grease-fest bagel. I’m still bummed that they discontinued the Spanish omelette bagel. That’s my all-time favorite. ---
