I had a Burger King “Pepperjack Stack” the other day, and I can happily say that if they continue this line, I will never darken the door of McD’s ever again. ---

I’m not sure how far around the country Fazolli’s has gotten but I’ve eaten at two of them, one in western Michigan, one in northern Ohio. Both places had great food, low prices and great service. My wife’s cousin and her boyfriend insist they’ll never go there again. They ate at the one in Flint Michigan. My response… “Well it was in Flint” ---

I’m with Airman on the boycott, but with QED on the scope of it. Almost every McDonald’s is owned by franchise holders. Those owners are the source of the shit-flows-downhill mountain. Just go to a different McDonald’s that is owned by a different enterprise. The comparisons can be downright startling. ---

Incompetence at a McDonald’s? I am shocked! Shocked! I am also in the midst of a personal boycott of McDonald’s. I’m not surprised by crappy and stupid service, but back in the spring, I went through the drive through, and discovered that I had not recieved what I had ordered. That wasn’t the first time, but when I called in, the person taking the call was rude and unhelpful. I suggested that she pay attention to what the hell she was doing, and hung up. After thinking about it, I decided to call back and talk to the manager. I got the same person, who yells to the manager “It’s him!” The manager was only slightly less abrasive. I tried to report this on their corporate web site, but they have a relatively long and involved process that requires so much personal information that I wasn’t sure if it was a complaint mechanism or a collection of demographic information mechanism. So, I say good on ya, **Airman**. There are alternatives! ---

Far be it from me to talk someone _in_to eating at McDonalds, but I’m wondering if the drive thru mechanism was out of order? It may be that the kid never even knew you were there. Though I must say that encountering a McEmployee who doesn’t give a shit is far more likely. And I think you’re doing the right thing.🙂 ---

I’ve given up on both McDonald’s and Burger King. McDonald’s because…well, they’re awful. Burger King because the quality of their meat seems to have taken a nosedive over the last few years. I honestly think they just spray wet sponges with “meat scent” (must come in a can or something) and serve them to you. Awful. Wendy’s all the way. ---

**World Eater** , mustard makes me physically ill to be too near. Seriously. I have a total aversion to the stuff. This is one reason I never ever get burgers at fast food places, as I know damn well the people putting the burgers together have been near the mustard. Even proximity is enough to bug me. So I’ve never eaten it either. I have, however, seen the Star Wars movies. Even the last two. I’m almost morbidly curious about the next one – can it suck even more? I don’t eat anything at McDonald’s except for the rare sausage biscuit (and not at all since I got hooked on Chick Fil A’s chicken biscuits, which I don’t eat often because I’d weigh 300 pounds) or an order of fries and a Coke for a snack. I hate their food. It IS possible to not eat there, people. ---

Well, the strength of any business lies in the training given to the employees and the enforcement of standards by management. It seems that the franchisee that owns the Mickey D’s **Airman** visited is slack, but another franchisee might not be. That said, I am glad **Airman** is boycotting McDonald’s. They serve tasteless, poisonous crap that should not be taken internally, as does every other fast food hamburger joint. ---

She said that they moved to a “phase 2” kitchen, which involves microwaving the burger after it’s been grilled. She admitted that the burgers weren’t as good, but that was the rule, and they weren’t allowed to skip the microwave even if the customer requested it. I used to really like BK burgers. Now I only go there for the fish. ---

**airman** , as angry as you are, I’m glad to see you landing on your feet. Wendy’s food tastes So Much Better than McDonalds that its not even funny. Even the fries are better (and the last good thing going for McD’s was their fries). I’ve never had a bad Wendy’s Classic. But I’ve had McDonalds burgers that I’ve had to throw out because they were so foul.
