I finally tried one of these a couple weeks ago and was thoroughly unimpressed. The cafeteria at my school had a similar menu item in its rotation every few weeks and I remember it was a lot better. The worst part was I accidentally forgot the to-go bag and trash (just wrappers, no uneaten food) in my car and when I left for work the next morning it smelled like shit. ---

I thought him highlighting the word “hate” made it pretty clear. I think he was just responding to some of the negative posts that preceded his and saying he liked that type of food, it’s not weird or gross, it’s even something like what he makes at home. Since you harshed on his post pretty hard, thought you’d be interested in what it was actually trying to say. But if not, okie dokes. ---

I admit it, they’ve been a guilty pleasure for me in the past. I don’t care what they look like before they’re cooked; they are tasty. But… that sodium content. 980mg. I sadly just can’t do that anymore. ---

Just had my first McRib of this apparition. Mmm, tangy. But I have to say, I liked it better when the apparitions were regional. There was that _frisson_ any time you hit a McDonald’s on the road, wondering whether you might get lucky and score a bonus McRib. ---
