…but something I just wanted to bring to the attention of those who do let 22 consecutive Autumn and Winter Sundays revolve around the bouncings of a little oblong ball: There are 214 days between February 4th, 2007 (Super Bowl Sunday) and September 6th, 2007 (opening day of the 2007 NFL season) February 4th was 108 days ago – we’re officially over the football-free hump! That is all. ---

Ah yes…soon minicamp reports will come flooding in…we’ll get excited about That New Kid we drafted. Preseason rolls around and That New Kid looks good…then he takes a giant shit during the season… I can taste it now… ---

Now, you see, the great thing about being an NFL fan in addition to being a CFL fan is that CFL fans only have to wait until June 28 for the season to start. Between CFL and NFL, I get to watch football from late June until the following February. Hooray! ---

[/QUOTE] Naw, the Rough Riders folded a few years back. Now, all we have is the Roughriders. (Ottawa had the two-word Rough Riders; Saskatchewan remains with the one-word Roughriders. Ahh football. Yes I really cannot wait for the season to start. My handle is actually partially because of my love of the Dallas Cowboys. Back in I think it was 2001 when the XFL had its one year stint I was thinking how awesome it would be to have football year round. NFL in the fall and winter, XFL in the spring, and NFL Europa in the summer. Alas it was not to be ☹
