I didn’t say that. Clearly, shooting at a truck delivering newspapers is a serious error. (I actually think the error’s genesis was in the wording of the radio warning to the cops on the post “he may be coming towards you” which opened itself to the interpretation an identification had been made, but I don’t want to derail the thread further with facts or anything ;)). Bitching about how the truck was the wrong color is stupid, as newspapers are delivered _in the dark_, when cones don’t function. Most ‘Monday Morning Quarterbacking’ comes from people who like to think they are somehow superior to those involved. You said he was ‘outgunned’, which I think is materially false, and seemed to imply that being shot from ambush was a facepalm. If you believe that, I think that’s pretty dumb. If you don’t believe it, you might amend your comments. ---
