What are they? Mentioned briefly in Austin Powers 1 - but, without any further explanation. The only clue given is that Dr. Evil used to make them when he was a child. (Being a fictional film anyway - chances are they do not exist - or do they?) ---

Not having seen the film, i’ll have to take a stab (ahem) and say it’s probably akin to, erm, mutton dagger ?, pork sword?, one eyed milkman? ---

I actually e-mailed Cecil this question in an effort to exhaust all possible resources in pursuit of the meaning of meat helmets- he refused to answer. I have also checked all the encyclopedias at my school as well as several CD ROMs and the only thing I can conclude is that Mike Myers just has an overacive imagination and made the whole bit up. * * * Now is the time for all good men to come the the aid of their gazorninplatt. ---
