I’m on my son’s PC at the moment, and I placed an audio CD in the drive to play it.

Media Player launches, and the CD plays. So far so good.

But when I click on Get Names in order to actually go out and look for the titles, Media Player responds with:

You must be connected to the Internet to update information about the audio CD you have selected.

I AM connected via a DSL connection.
IE is working just fine (obviously)
Email is flowing
I tried uninstalling and re-installing media player with my connection active, same problem.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Steve

Check out the “Connecting to the Internet” on the [FAQ Page](http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/9series/player/faq.aspx) for Windows Media Player. There’s some tips there.
