Medical question: What does one have when one poops oil?

My wife has never experienced it, either. Me, it hits every time. Massively unfair- it’s great as sushi.

And if so, is there video?

This is the internet. OF COURSE there’s a video.

What does one have when one poops oil?
An answer to the energy crisis?

Can this be caused from drinking excessive amounts of really crappy beer and then eating something nasty right before bed?

Because, er, I know someone like that.

maybe related to what else you ate? mrAru and I did a sushi-fest last weekend, and I did pretty straight sushi and sashimi, but he added tempura veggies and had digestive issues [and the white tuna is fantastic - the mouth feel is silkier than regular tuna, had it as sashimi] while I didn’t …

Wish I could afford another sushifest =( I could really go for more

Before I had my ass-o-scope I mean colonospectimy or however you spell it (tired not looking up) I would occasionally have oil poop as well. Apparantly I have IBS and that output is caused by it.

Is you oil light brown in color?

Alli/Orlistat can give one oily stools.

No shit?

You’re sitting on black gold, my friend!

Wish I’d never read that. Super white tuna is one of my favorite sashimi choices. And I have no gall bladder. I’ve yet to recognize any problem, and I probably eat it once a week.

Wait… it comes in different colors?

never mind… misread question.

Could also be gluten intolerance or celiac disease.

A semi-related question:

If one eats a meal that one’s GI tract finds “disagreeable,” and one ends up sitting on the toilet 45 minutes later, is the excreta composed of the meal just eaten?

In most cases food cannot go through your body in 45 minutes. It takes many hours. What comes out today is probably what you ate yesterday.

I once ate an apple, had immediate stomach cramps, and 30 minutes later was crapping apple sauce.

That’s kind of what I figured, since the whole system is some 20-30 feet long. So why would a person’s colon react so quickly (and in such a manner) to a meal that’s still up in the stomach?

How about a snapshot?

It isn’t black oil, is it?
