Well, okay. Considering Gabe’s post here. {thinking} It is highly unlikely, not impossible mind you, that the Feds would have an interest in me. According to all of the documentation I’ve read, the **only** way I might see trouble would be if the dispensary got raided whilst I was there. Which IMO, is again unlikely since it’s approved by both the County and City and is highly regulated. I’ve not read of any incidents involving the dispensary I patronize. That’s not saying that others in the area haven’t had issues. Some HAVE been raided, robbed, people shot, etc., but I tend to believe that there were other things at play in those instances. Where I go there is a guard on the street outside in the parking lot, an weaponed person at the main door and another weaponed person at the entrance door. They go over you with a metal detector. The atmosphere is quite calm. There are definite etiquettes that are followed, and I follow to the letter since it is a privilege to be there. I also realize that the situation could change at any time, but for now, it’s pretty good. I don’t grow (which is MOST likely to call attention to yourself) and even if I did I’m allowed to have up to 12 (?) plants. Again, as long as the Feds aren’t involved, which is, again, highly unlikely to a small-time user-not-seller like me. I haven’t read ANYTHING in the area regarding arrests of patrons. If you’re interested, you might check out the MM websites and be surprised. ---

But, since the law is in such a state of flux at this point, not to mention public policy, I would caution posters to keep everything factual. We have a “club” here in Santa Barbara. I’ve never been inside but I know where it is. It’s just an unmarked little store front. Two of my friends are “scripted” and can purchase from there. Both of them told me that along with several varieties of the smokeable kind, they also have baked goods. ---
