[/QUOTE] In all the years I have been a moderator on this board, I have found that when it comes to the supernatural, asking for evidence will _always_ start a debate on what is valid evidence and what isn’t, and the same goes for the photographs requested. If the OP had stuck with the first two questions, I would have no trouble leaving it in IMHO. ---

The OP wasn’t really asking _for_ evidence but rather if there’s ever been any. Leave off the first two questions and it could have been in GQ. ---

(Can understand if you don’t want to reply though..if it went well, then to say so would open door to demands to replicate/upgrade test w/ witnesses, etc. and if it didn’t go well, you’re probably coping w/ some readjustments and introspection.) Oh, and props to Vinyl Turnip for the Hypernormal Challenge back on Page 5, that was some serious funny. ---

Really? I expect a glowing report of a highly successful experiment. Whether it has any basis in fact takes us back to **Dio** ’s either/or hypothesis. ---

[/QUOTE] I don’t expect such a report, since I don’t think she’s a liar and I don’t believe in ghosts. If we _do_ get a glowing report, I’ll…still not believe in ghosts. Which means I’ll hope she repeats the experiment with a (hopefully real :)) impartial judge. And if she reports _that_, well…call me when she and Marcus turn up in Scientific American. This is a message board. I can’t imagine anything anyone could write that convinces me that ghosts are real, unless she has Marcus come sneak a peek at _me_ and describe what he sees. ---

I would be more than happy to demonstrate my ability, but there are a few potential complications. First, there’s a time distortion problem. Even if I spend hours in the other location, when I return “home” no time has passed–so to an observer watching me, it would look as though I’d never left. Also, I’m invisible to others while teleporting, and unable to affect people or objects in any way. And finally, when I return to my base location, I can’t remember anything I’ve seen or heard on my journey. I don’t talk much about my abilities because I know there will be skeptics, and I just want to fit in with “regular people.” It’s a burden sometimes, being special. ---

That would include changing into rubber pants and smearing one’s self in jello before removing those two objects from their location in the teleport back. Also, an observer would notice an instant change of pants and the sudden appearance of jello coating on the observee. No, I’m afraid your theory simply does not hold muster. The mystery about the grand adventures remains total and I am highly skeptical of such outlandish claims.
