However that all happened after she made here original claims in another forum, and a persons strategy for dealing with (perhaps) unintended consequences after the fact is dependent on her personality and her character. Neurological disease, delusion, malicious deception, harmless fun, book project, personal mythology, who knows. Meenies the only person in a position to know for sure. Obviously you’ll have read all my 801 posts, analysed them for content, and taken into account the responses they have generated, but at the end of the day, it’s all a little subjective, isn’t it? If you are just talking about witty one-liners, I’m sure I’d give him a run for his money. If you are talking about SD ‘traffic’ generated, ie. views and responses, I’m already kicking his ass, if that’s the competition we are having. And I’m not in competition with you on this board, except in the larger sense that I’m in “competition” with _all_ its users to be known for having a quick wit and reliably intelligent opinions and thus emulate Cecil Adams himself. As an incidental note, it’s this competition that makes the board interesting for me because it selects for people who are clever and funny, as opposed to other entertainment boards that reward the relentless use of catch-phrases or childish insults or frenetic posting. ---

[/QUOTE] If you are referring to me in that latter group, I’ll confess to the odd playground insult - I call it keeping in touch with my inner-child, but I don’t have any catch-phrases, and I’d need a far better definition of ‘frenetic posting’ to comment on that. Is it making 17 posts a day, as opposed to 7, for instance? Perhaps the mods could do something about putting a cap on the amount of posts each member can make? I realise some people might wish that figure was less than one in my case, but there is a simple solution. Don’t go in my threads, and ignore my posts. ---

I wish I had the time to evaluate all of your posts but, gee, I got work to do and that sort of boring shit. The things I pointed out are what sticks out in my mind, and as a former enforcer for cyrstal cooks, I gave your posts more attention than they probably deserved. To be frank and honest with you, you are coming off as kind of a spaz. As far as the responses you have generated, well, trolls seem to do well here, and to be honest, I have been accused, more than once, of being one myself. Please don’t allow me expressing my feelings as a vote as you being troll. As I had only dealt with people in real life before I got here, It was tough getting the feel of dealing with people on line. I feel you are fitting in just fine. If nothing more for the entertainment value alone. The same old shit gets boring after a while. Oh and any attempts to “referee” any of **BE**'s posts, will only draw more negative attention to yourself. Sorry **BE** , that I misspelled your handle. You know I respect you.
