1998 Toyota Corolla, in the shade of Opal-something, but it’s champagney. The most generic of cars, I love its reliability and great gas mileage. My husband drives a 2004 Chevy Aveo, bright red, which has fantastic fuel efficiency. It’s little on the outside, big on the inside, like our very own TARDIS. ---

A 1989 Isuzu Pickup. Kinda like [this one](http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4513216729&category=6271), except mine’s blue (where it’s not rusted out). Also mine hasn’t been that clean since, probably, 1989. And mine’s completely covered with little tiny dents and scratches from this and that over the five years I’ve had it. I love it, though. There’s no note to pay, because I bought it outright five years ago; there’s no worry, because if it gets dinged or dented or dirty it doesn’t matter. In short, it’s a vehicle that takes me, reliably, wherever I need to go and takes up none of my mental energy otherwise. It’s perfect. Oh yeah, and I put a CD player in it. 🆒 ---

1993 Red Honda Civic (hatchback). Has less than 115K miles on it, and carries a deceptively large “payload”. I imagine I’ll continue to drive her until she gives out altogether. ---

I’m driving a 2003 Chevy Metro. I’ve no Idea why they stopped making these, it’s a great little car. 33mpg in the city, and it’s magical, bigger on the inside than it is from the outside. I call it my flying egg. Whenever I see another one like it on the road, I point and comment. “Hey, Cool car!”. It’s also the first one I ever bought new, after having a 78 datsun P/U stolen, and running a 81 Honda Accord into the ground. I had a 91 Thunderbird for Nine months, but an ex-girlfriend drove it into a Volvo. ---
