Houston is actually a pretty cool city, it has a very cosmopolitan feel due to the large amount of immigrants. There is Montrose too which has a totally different feel than you’d expect for Texas.

Back in 1980, there was a guy in Arizona (I think) named Briggs (I think) who was either a state representative or a Congressman (I think) who said that if Jimmy Carter were re-elected, it would be necessary for the U.S. Army to depose him.
I’ve Googled like a madman and never found any cites for this, but I’m darned sure I remember it… Does anybody else remember this, or have I been translated into a parallel universe?

Well, to be fair, “is doing many of the same things as Hitler” is pretty ambiguous. Obama’s been making speeches all over the place, he runs a whole country and sometimes plays with his dog, which are all _things Hitler did!_

I _absolutely_ agree–anyone who has taken an oath to uphold the United States Constitution has a solemn duty to remain vigilant againt people like Judge Tom Head who pose a threat of lawless insurrection against the duly elected government of the United States.

The word “nazi” is German shorthand for National **Socialism**. Checkmate, Obamailures !
(No, really. It’s \*that \*easy for them. They literally do not look past the name. Then again, they evidently don’t know what the fuck “socialism” is, seemingly defining it as “anything I don’t agree with”, so in \*that \*sense of the word fascists might as well be socialism.)

Defeated in the 2002 Democratic Primary. Defeated in the 2006 Democratic Primary. Left the Democratic Party in Sept 2007.
I think the Democrats have effectively rid themselves of this particular crackpot. That’s the difference; Republicans embrace their crackpots. Democrats get rid of theirs.
