# Meet Tom Head, Lubbock County Judge

I am going to come clean and admit it since I may be the only Doper to have done this. But I have actually met Tom Head in person. Really. He’s the judge I had to speak with back in the 1990s during an emergency trip to the US after my father suffered his aneurysm. I had to speak to him about getting power of attorney for my father.
This was pre-Tea Party days of course, and in my short time in his chambers, he seemed rather normal.
