Mega Millions Madness

The complications of managing a huge amount of money is why I’d rather win $15,000,000 that $1,500,000,000 – the former is unlikely to draw enough attention for someone to try to pierce the veil of anonymity (of course I’d claim it anonymously, which my state allows), is plenty enough for me and my lady to live in the style to which we’d like to become accustomed with minimal temptation to go ridiculously over-the-top, can be easily managed (some in annuities to guarantee long-term income, some for supporting various good causes*, some for indulgences like a nice new house with a personal office and gaming room designed in).

*sorry, the SHBF doesn’t make the cut
