She seemed to lose interest in Fox several months ago. Fox didn’t give her much support during her social media fight with Trump. She can be a big shot NEWS STAR! At NBC. I bet she’s got her eye on that evening news anchor job. ---

Megan definitely took the high road by ignoring Trump’s baiting. Maintaining her professionalism and self respect. She is one very ambitious lady. Brian Williams and Lester Holt better watch their backs. ---

I don’t have a lot of respect for Kelly. She acted in her own self-interest. She was apparently willing to be a part of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy while it hit other people. She didn’t change allegiance until it turned on her personally. ---

She also delivered that zinger to Karl Rove when Obama won his first election and he (Rove) freaked out. “Is this math you do for yourself as a Republican to make yourself feel better?” which I thought was pretty bold for a FOX news anchor. ---

Back in his day, Jon Stewart would often point out Kelly intentionally acting ignorant about basic facts (even stuff she had reported/opined on earlier) to make a right-leaning case on air. She’s like Kaisch or Huntsman – 99% of their ideology is identical to the rest of the GOP but they make the “brave” stance of saying maybe CO2 is bad for the climate or maybe you shouldn’t call women whores and suddenly half the liberal population is praising them for being so moderate and even thinking. ---

The roles that Kelly will be playing at NBC, according to that NYT article, undoubtedly already place her above Williams in the pecking order at NBC News. Also, it’s Megyn, not Megan. ---

This should come as a surprise to no one. She’s been a rising star for a while. [Here](http://www.nytimes.com/2015/01/25/magazine/the-megyn-kelly-moment.html), for instance, is a profile of her from The New York Times Sunday Magazine of almost two years ago. Thirteen or fourteen years ago, she was in her first TV job at the ABC affiliate in Washington DC, and after just a couple of years, could have gone to any of the networks. ---

This is going to be real interesting. How can you just switch like that? She has really been a lying sack basically for 12 years. On almost all the issues. Is she going to just become a human being all of the sudden? Who the hell is going to watch someone that disingenuous and malleable? Especially with all the media and time killing alternatives we have. It is not the cronkite/johnny carson/barbara walters era anymore, as much as the headlines ignore that fact as they report this. The industry is in trouble if they are going to give this woman another job. ---
