She could provide the bare minimum for the child and use the rest to party on weekends while she hires a nanny to watch the kid. Are you suggesting that this money goes to the child somehow? Why doesn’t the law demand an accounting of this support to ensure that it goes to the child? The reason is that because you know as well as I do that the formulas are bullshit. Sure, if I make $30,000/yr then it is reasonable to say that X percent of my income goes to the child. If I make 30 million per year, then that same percentage certainly doesn’t go to the child. Are we buying gold-plated playpens? You can’t possibly spend 30 grand a month on a newborn. It has to go to the woman. Now, you may agree with that, but at least admit that it is back door alimony. ---
