I don’t get it. I could see you choking Mr. Coffee. Or a mop. But your average toaster hasn’t got much of a neck. Most peoplec are content to _throw_ the toaster. ---

Here I thought “Choke the Toaster” was some eccentric euphemism for jerking-off and it turns out, he actually enjoys asphyxiating kitchen appliances. How do you find the neck on a toaster? Maybe he should try choking the blended and drop kicking the toaster. I think it would work much better. Now I am wondering if maybe he just needs a punching bag in the kitchen. Jim ---

OK, I’ll say it: Once, in a fit of rage, (Yes, drunken rage) in college, I ripped the communal toaster out of the wal and flung it into the drainage ditch next to our dorm. My actions were greeted by loud applause, but Diane Sawyer didn’t come to ask me about it. What’s life for if not to take out rage on kitchen appliances? ---

I predict that “I choking your toaster” will be the next SDMB catchphrase. Personally, I think that Gibson is a loon. When I experience my daily morning rage, I kick my shower’s ass. Then I punch my mattress in the balls. ---

My friend flew with him on an intercontinental flight. He’s an alcoholic who works hard to control it and that leads to some eccentric behaviours. ---
