I actually doubt FLOTUS was sending any kind of message. The Trumps are shallow and don’t think about the repercussions of anything they do. They just act on impulse and regard negative feedback as “haters”. She probably selected the coat because she thought it looked fashionable. ---

I haven’t seen anyone else address this: is that raincoat off-the-shelf? The writing on it looks amateurish, but I got no fashion sense whatsoever, so I dunno if this is something you pay ten thousand for, or if she too a paintbrush and daubed those words on the raincoat herself. ---
