And a large fraction of voters will still vote for him.

What is the thing where women in hot sexy photoshoots always look pissed off? Is it because they are hungry? Do a lot of guys find grumpy looking women to be sexy?
It’s an expression I call “aggressively vacuous”. I think the idea is to have them look like they desperately want something, but have no idea what.
Someone decided that looking happy and chill and lively while cavorting sexily is either too much like mass-market(ew) advertising or porn, so if you want artistic and stylish and upscale you should provide an utterly blank and unexpressive visage.
Or else someone said at some point, “Let’s be honest, the models are cold and hungry and uncomfortable and they hate us for treating them like set props: let them look like it.”
It just looks cooler. Did you ever see James Dean grinning like an idiot?

She seems to keep her eyes frozen in a 20% squint. It seems like one of those Zoolander Blue Steel type things, a perma-affectation. It’s distracting as hell, and I always find myself wondering what she’d look like if she would drop her mask.
