i noticed that most posters’ names have a label under them. Members, moderators, and EVERY NOW AND THEN… Banned.

???

Are these people truly banned? If so, how are they posting?

They’re not posting, but their past posts aren’t deleted or it would make the threads harder to read (i.e. other posters responding to non-existent messages).

Go look at your first post. You will see your post count is current. The posts you are seeing were made before they were banned.
