# Member Merkwurdigliebe has been banned

We banned [Merkwurdigliebe](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/member.php) this evening after [he made this post under a new account, **Ford Red Robot**.](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=502314) He’d also posted today under his own name. Before he signed up as Merkwurdigliebe in December 2003, he posted for about eight months as **[futureman](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/member.php)**. While posting as Merkwurdigliebe he also used the account **Mr. Putter** twice, three years ago. He registered one other account during that time but didn’t use it. If you have any questions, please ask them in a separate thread.
