In 7 years, the lil’ guy will be able to say with pride that he’s had a Pit thread made about him (which is basically what this is, parents signing up or not) before he was even out of the first grade. That’s got to buy him some major street cred around here… ---

Did I drink too much eggnog last night? Because this Pitting doesn’t make any sense. If **BabyDoors** was posting here, I’d have an issue with it. Since he’s not (and this all happened 6 years ago), I think the OP has got nothing better to do. I don’t care if someone registers their dog or cat in some cute way, as long as said dog or cat doesn’t post. People find the weirdest, trivial shit to get upset about. ---

When **Bomb Bay Doors** attains the age of posterability, I’m confident that he will have learned from his parents the traits of thoughtful, mature, impassioned judgment that have characterized most of the teens that have stuck around. **Captain Carrot** signed up before his 13th birthday and was making intelligent posts at 12. I am not aware of any rule against cats or dogs posting, but remember that they must be at least 13 years old. For example, [my cat **Buddy** (NSFW)](http://my.tbaytel.net/culpeperlaw/20061231162110000.jpg) could make more intelligent posts than **Punintentional** , but he does not post because he is only two and a half years old. ---
