**Mr. Blue Sky** , the first thing I though of was the baby from Eraserhead. But I think I saw a documentary or read an article somewhere that said that Lynch refuses to talk about how it was made or what it was made of. . .it’s probably not around anymore. A documentary I saw on A&E or Bravo or one of those stations studied his hobby of making various things (art, mostly) out of meat. . . Budding film directors, henceforth you must freeze your meat-babies if they are to become collector’s items! 😃 ---

When the LP of Jesus Christ Superstar was first released, it couldn’t be sold in the Soviet Union. Unsanctioned copies went for $100 (back in 1971!). Two enterprising Russians took Andrew Lloyd Webber’s music, wrote Russian lyrics commending capitalism, and did a show called “Rock and Roll At Dawn.” I would kill for anything from that show. On the other hand, I do have a Playbill from that well-knoown show “Hulla Baloo.” Set in a loo. With contributions from Tim Ric and ALW. ---

**Scrivener**? To my knowledge (and with a quick Google search to confirm), Fender never made a Strat bass. A Precision Bass looks like a Strat, but is a different model. McCartney played the Hofner 500/1 Violin bass and a Rickenbacker bass, but didn’t play Fenders, to my knowledge… I want: - The Black Bird from the Maltese Falcon (keep yer hands off it, **Eve**!) - The model of the ship the True Love, from the Philadelphia Story (my, she was yar). - Any of the guitars from Nigel’s collection in Spinal Tap, the guitars from the movie BackBeat (about the Beatles in Hamburg), and pretty much any other guitars from movies… - An Iron Giant. ---

Quite right. The Macca holy relic is the Rickenbacker. (So what the heck was I thinking when I posted?) * * * What’s a home library without a few priceless tomes? I’d pick “The Book of the Film” from **Monty Python & the Holy Grail** (costume-gorilla hand not included), Dr. Frankenstein [pere]'s laboratory book, “How I Did It” from **Young Frankenstein** , and Balkan’s copy of “The Ninth Gate of the Kingdom of Shadows” from **The Ninth Gate**. And when serving rare vintages in said library? How about the two goblets from **The Princess Bride**? Only, don’t pick the one with the alocaine powder in it… One more thing: that wonderful ornithopter that Matthew Modine launched in the classroom in **Birdy** , because I started a thread about it once. ---
