Let’s err toward your side of the discussion and submit that a guy uses 30 minutes to take care of his morning ritual. That’s one guy X 30 minutes = 1/2 person hour. As Handy mentioned, every time one woman has to go potty, she takes 2 or more friends with her. The average stay is at least 10 minutes. That’s 3 women X 10 minutes = 1/2 person hour. Sounds equitable to me. In either case the company loses 1/2 hour of productivity. Now quitcher bitchin’ before the company decides to post a security guard at the bathroom door to check men for reading material and only let women in one at a time. ---

Firstly, let me just say that if the man in question is in the pubescent stage of life, you really don’t want to know what he’s doing in there… I am generally of the get in, do your job, and get out school of thought. I had a roommate once, though, that never took less than fifteen minutes to do his business. And he wasn’t padding his time, either. It literally took him that long to get things moving.
